Printable RPG map shop
A small storefront selling hand-drawn and digital campaign maps as downloadable PDFs and printables for tabletop role-playing game masters.
The idea, in plain language
A small storefront sells hand-drawn and digital tabletop role-playing game campaign maps as downloadable PDFs and printables for D&D and other TTRPG game masters. The product is a niche creative-asset sold through platforms like Gumroad or Etsy, monetizing a hobby skill by packaging map designs as one-off digital purchases. The customer is a Dungeon Master or world-builder looking for ready-made maps, and the startup cost is low because it only requires drawing ability plus a free or inexpensive listing on an existing marketplace. The video references a 'first $1,000' milestone, putting the early revenue in the low thousands of dollars.
Where the sources agree
- It's a niche digital-download storefront rather than a custom-commission business.
- Maps are sold as PDFs/printables rather than physical goods.
- Startup cost is minimal, leveraging existing marketplaces like Etsy or Gumroad.
