Disclosure
Affiliate & AI disclosure
The short version: some links earn us a commission, and AI helps us write and score the catalog. Neither ever changes what you see ranked where.
Affiliate links
Some tools listed in the “Tools people use for this” section of an idea page are affiliate links. They are always tagged “affiliate” and open through our redirect so we can count clicks. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate relationships never change the ranking of ideas or episodes, never change your fit scores, and never decide which ideas appear in the catalog. A tool is listed because it is relevant to the idea — not because of the commission.
Referral links on Ways to earn
Some platforms in the Ways to earn directory (for example AI-training and research-study sites) run referral programs. When we use one, the button says so with a “Referral” label and a note right next to it, and the link opens through our redirect. If you join and qualify, the platform may pay us a referral bonus; it costs you nothing and does not change your pay.
Referral programs never decide which platforms we list, the order they appear in, or what we say about them. Platforms without a referral link are listed the same way and link straight to their official site. Pay ranges and eligibility come from each platform’s own pages and are dated; check the platform before you rely on them.
Promo plays and gambling-adjacent offers
Bank, card and brokerage bonuses, cashback, sportsbook promos and sweepstakes-casino bonuses are listed with their eligibility, minimum age and the US states where they are not available. Sportsbook and sweepstakes-casino offers are gambling-adjacent; we never recommend depositing to chase them. Help is available at 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537).
AI-assisted content
The catalog is distilled from YouTube channels and podcasts with AI assistance: episode synopses, idea summaries and the per-user fit scores, reasons and first steps are generated or drafted by AI models and reviewed before publication. Treat them as a starting point for your own research, not as business or financial advice.
Sources
Every episode and idea page credits the channel or show it came from and links back to the original video on YouTube or the episode on the podcast's own site. We publish our own synopses only — never the original descriptions, show notes or transcripts.
